叶怀瑛生于美国伊利诺州，她从小就对艺术有兴趣并有丰富的多文化背景，小学在美国、东京、台北完成，中学在北京国际学校毕业后进入美国常春藤布朗大学就读。大二时因个人原因休学，她开始游走美国与世界，寻找自己的方向，并逐渐的在过程中找到自己的热爱：摄影创作。目前她是一位自由摄影师，着重於人像和主题摄影，主要工作地点为波士顿、台北、休士顿、及北京.
