Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is not just about understanding yourself, but about shifting the habits that keep you stuck. You may have read widely, used apps or digital reflection tools, or drawn insights from AI support. This foundation is useful, and, it often doesn’t create lasting change without relational context, nervous system recalibration, and real-time exploration of avoidance patterns. Therapy can be a space to pause, breathe, and turn toward what is happening and within yourself with curiosity and care, with another human who is paying attention alongside you.
Who I Work With
Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-reflective, and often highly capable, yet find themselves struggling with one or more of the following:
Feeling anxious, burned out, or stuck in cycles of procrastination, perfectionism, and self-criticism
Feeling depressed, numb, unmotivated, or disconnected, and longing to reignite a sense of pleasure, meaning, and momentum in daily life
Facing challenging life transitions (i.e. school/career shifts, relocation, divorce, becoming a parent/caregiver, retirement, friend group changes, identity changes)
Living with chronic pain or other mind-body symptoms that haven’t responded to other approaches
Seeking change related to addiction or compulsive behaviors such as substance use, overworking, or screen use that are negatively impacting health, relationships, or overall well-being
Struggling with relationship patterns, attachment wounds, or communication challenges
Navigating identity, belonging, culture shock, assimilation, and cross-cultural transitions and relationships related to experiences as immigrants, children of immigrants, Third Culture Kids, and bi- or multi-cultural individuals
Processing grief or loss, whether of loved ones, relationships, roles, health, communities, or ways of life
Engaging in existential or spiritual questioning related to meaning, purpose, or uncertainty towards the future
How I Work
I believe you are the expert of your own lived experience. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you uncover patterns, access your inner resources, and experiment with new ways of relating to yourself and the world.
My approach is relational, compassionate, and solution-focused. I meet clients with mindful presence and cultural humility, at times weaving in humor to help the work feel a little lighter. I balance holding a safe, reflective space with concrete tools and experiential practices that support both clarifying insight and actionable change.
Depending on your situation, our work may include:
Guided parts work to explore underlying patterns with curiosity and care
Tailored mindfulness- and compassion-based practices to cultivate nonjudgmental awareness and nervous system regulation
Insight-oriented exploration of attachment styles, emotions, and core beliefs
Somatic and mind-body approaches such as Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) for chronic pain and stress-related symptoms
Values clarification and collaborative goal-setting, with solution-focused steps to support progress between sessions
